Being named a Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune is a tough job. Earning the accolade four years in a row is even harder, but Ozinga was up for the challenge and is proud our efforts paid off—we're a Chicago Tribune 2017 Top Workplace.
The award is given to companies based solely on results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a research firm specializing in organizational health and workplace improvement. For this year's survey, companies were judged on workplace culture, specifically connection, execution, and alignment. By putting our coworkers first and reamining an industry leader, our coworkers recognized us as a great place to work, and we couldn't be more honored.
“Receiving the Top Workplaces award for another year in a row is a very humbling honor,” said Marty Ozinga IV, President of Ozinga. “As a fourth-generation family business, our values have guided our actions since the company’s founding almost 90 years ago. Having coworkers who embrace these values and steward the company like it’s their own is not only the secret to our success, but a testament to where these values will lead us in the future. Being recognized for our efforts is extremely gratifying and affirms our commitment to operate our company in line with our timeless values.”
