A Letter to Our Customers Regarding COVID-19
Dear valued customer,
The news of the coronavirus COVID-19 and its effects are unprecedented, requiring all companies, including Ozinga, to closely monitor the situation and make important decisions regarding business and people. At Ozinga, we put our purpose—to make a positive impact on individuals, their families and the community for generations—at the heart of all we do. In these times as always, there is nothing more important to us than the safety and well-being of our coworkers, customers and communities.
At this time, all Ozinga locations remain open; our concrete plants are producing and delivering concrete, our aggregate plants and material terminals are open and delivering materials, and our CNG stations stand at the ready for you. We want to keep working and serving you and our communities – and are dedicated to doing so for the foreseeable future. We have been fortunate enough to experience no interruptions to our supply chain, and we are confident in our ability to serve the continued demand we are seeing across the construction industry.
And while we have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of our equipment and the safety of our coworkers, now, more than ever, we are doing everything we can to be safe and healthy while serving you:
- Coworkers who can work from home have been instructed to do so
- Sales representatives, like all coworkers, are refraining from in-person meetings
- Dispatch and Customer Service are available to assist you as usual via phone
- Drivers are practicing social distancing and avoiding as much contact as possible
- Offices and yards are closed to outside visitors except deliveries
- Equipment and facilities are all being regularly deep cleaned
We recognize that this is an evolving situation, and our decisions may need to change as new information arises. Should anything change, we will work to be in communication with you.
Even in these uncertain times, I’m confident that together, there’s nothing we can’t handle. I invite you to join me in praying for all who are affected by the virus and for wisdom for all leaders across the world as we deal with this pandemic together. Please take good care of yourself and your families in these times; stay well.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
